Soliant Health is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Anoka, MN. This is a full-time onsite position for the 23-24 school year. The caseloads available are varied and offer a range of experiences across different grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication development within the classroom and home settings
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development and review of students' goals and objectives
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff in implementing strategies to enhance students' communication skills
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Minnesota
- Experience working with diverse caseloads and knowledge of various speech and language disorders
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Dedication to providing high-quality services to students and supporting their overall development
