Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Maize, KS. This is a full-time onsite position for the 23-24 school year. The district encourages Clinical Fellows (CFs) to apply, offering a supportive environment for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting students' communication goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and social/pragmatic skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication development in both academic and social settings
- Monitor students' progress, make adjustments to therapy plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of students' performance
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development and review of students' goals and objectives
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and staff in implementing strategies to enhance students' communication skills
- Stay updated on current research and evidence-based practices in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Kansas
- CFs are encouraged to apply; completion of or enrollment in a Clinical Fellowship (CF) program
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Dedication to providing high-quality services to students and supporting their overall development
