Soliant Health is currently seeking multiple dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school district in Foster City, CA. These are full-time onsite positions for the 23-24 school year. The district is looking for SLPs who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and are particularly interested in candidates with bilingual (Spanish) skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs and goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders or delays
- Target various speech and language areas, including articulation, phonology, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and social communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication development in the classroom and other settings
- Monitor students' progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and review of students' goals and objectives
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and staff on effective strategies and accommodations for students with communication needs
- Stay updated with current research and evidence-based practices in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) applicants are encouraged to apply
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills are extremely desirable
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality services and supporting students' overall communication development
