Soliant Health is currently seeking multiple dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school district in Castleton, NY for the 23-24 school year. These are full-time positions, with 40 hours per week, and will require onsite work at the designated school or schools within the district. The district is looking for SLPs who are passionate about helping students communicate effectively and are skilled in working with diverse caseloads.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' specific needs and goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders or delays
  • Target various speech and language areas, including articulation, phonology, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication development in the classroom and other settings
  • Monitor students' progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and review of students' goals and objectives
  • Offer consultation and training to teachers and staff on effective strategies and accommodations for students with communication needs
  • Stay updated with current research and evidence-based practices in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in New York
  • Experience working with diverse caseloads preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality services and supporting students' overall communication development
