Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Burney, CA for the 23-24 school year. This is a full-time position with a commitment to serving primarily an elementary caseload. The SLP will work onsite at the designated school within the district.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each student's specific communication goals and needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders or delays
  • Address various speech and language areas, such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication development in academic and social settings
  • Monitor and document students' progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and review of students' goals and objectives
  • Offer consultation and training to teachers and staff on effective strategies and accommodations for students with communication needs
  • Stay updated on current research and evidence-based practices in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
  • Previous experience working with elementary school students is preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality services and supporting students' overall communication development
