Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in San Juan Bautista, CA for the 23-24 school year. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students within the district. This is a full-time position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week, and it requires working onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' needs and goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' goals and accommodations
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech and language therapy
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
