Title: Clinical Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP/SLPA)

• Job Description: Our school district is seeking a dedicated and qualified speech-language pathologist to join our team and provide services to toddlers in a clinical setting. The speech-language pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, as well as collaborating with interdisciplinary team and parents to support toddlers' communication needs. Details: 2023-2024;  Full-time: 40 hours/week; ASAP start - at least 1 year contract; Caseload: Mostly toddlers; Setting: Clinical 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate childrens' speech and language abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with interdisciplinary team and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to intervention
• Provide direct therapy services to children individually or in small groups
• Monitor and document children's' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives for children with speech and language needs
• Collaborate with parents, and other professionals to provide strategies and support for children's' communication skills in the clinical setting and at home

Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelors degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders
• Current state license or certification in speech-language pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred- SLP
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an clinical setting
• Knowledge of various communication disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
