Position Overview: As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing tele-therapy services to students in the K-12 age range. This is a full-time position that allows you to work remotely, using our provided Zoom Pro account to connect with students and deliver personalized therapy sessions. You will have a dedicated caseload and be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to support students' communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy services to students via tele-therapy sessions
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated support
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Minnesota
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in using tele-therapy platforms and technology
