Job Title: School Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Fort Worth, TX area for the 23/24 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with school-aged children, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be knowledgeable in evidence-based speech and language therapy practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments to identify students with speech and language disorders and determine eligibility for services
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students with communication needs
- Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and facilitate communication skills development
- Monitoring and documenting student progress towards goals
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Texas state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for certification
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based speech and language therapy practices
