Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Near Cain City, TX
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Caseload: 50 students (PK-12)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services, including evaluations and therapy sessions, to a caseload of 50 students in grades PK-12.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment for students.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and evaluation reports.
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid billing requirements and submit necessary documentation for reimbursement.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations and familiarity with a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to create engaging therapy materials and utilize evidence-based practices.
- Proficiency in Medicaid billing procedures and documentation.
