Hiring: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Wichita, KS and Surrounding Areas
Soliant is currently seeking a talented and dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 23/24 school year. This position is located near Wichita, Kansas, and covers surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges
- Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress towards achieving goals
- Maintain accurate and organized records in compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights on speech and language needs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Kansas state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
