Soliant is currently working with a school district located halfway between Paso Robles and Fresno, and we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position. This role involves providing speech and language services to elementary school students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the school team to support students' communication skills in the classroom
  • Monitor and document student progress, and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide input on goals and services
  • Stay current on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification or eligibility for certification
  • Experience working with elementary school students, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule and Compensation:

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours per week, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The position is onsite, allowing for direct interaction and collaboration with students, staff, and parents. The assignment will start on August 9, 2023, and continue until June 7, 2024.
