Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position near Murray, CA. This opportunity is perfect for professionals looking to work with an elementary caseload in a supportive school environment. The location is conveniently situated halfway between Paso Robles and Fresno.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: August 9, 2023
  • End Date: June 7, 2024
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Caseload: Elementary students
  • Onsite position only

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the academic setting
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of goals and services
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification or eligibility for certification
  • Experience working with elementary school students, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
