Speech Language Pathology Assistant (Lowell, MA)

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Lowell, MA. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide support and assistance in the delivery of speech and language services to students. Responsibilities:

• Assist the SLP in conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on the SLP's recommendations
• Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
• Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with the SLP, teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote communication skills in the classroom and at home
• Attend meetings and training sessions related to speech and language services

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology or related field
• Certification as an SLPA by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and communicate effectively with parents
