Position Overview:
As an SLPA, you'll play a crucial role in supporting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with communication and swallowing disorders. Working closely with our team, you'll assist in creating and executing treatment plans, administering therapy sessions, and tracking client progress. Responsibilities:
• Assist licensed SLPs in conducting assessments to identify various disorders, including speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing issues.
• Help develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, client objectives, and guidance from SLPs.
• Administer therapeutic interventions as directed, encompassing speech and language therapy, voice therapy, fluency therapy, and swallowing therapy.
• Employ diverse tools and methods to enhance communication abilities, refine speech articulation, and foster language development.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and fellow professionals to offer support and education on communication disorders.
• Aid in monitoring student progress, documenting treatment results, and communicating findings to licensed SLPs.
• Stay abreast of advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and contribute to the overall success of the school.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
• Active state certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
• Previous experience in SLPA roles or related positions is preferred.
• Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in speech-language pathology.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team under the supervision of licensed SLPs.
