Position Details:
- Location: Porterville, CA
- Contract Term: 2023-2024 School Year
- Job Type: Full-time (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Caseload: K-12th grade, with a caseload ranging from 45-55 students
- Certification: SLP-CCC preferred (Will consider Clinical Fellows - CF)
- On-site Only: Positions are on-site within our district.
About the Position:
In this role, the SLPA will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, including a significant population of English Learners. Porterville Unified School District encompasses 21 schools, providing a dynamic and collaborative work environment. The working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Qualifications:
- Valid California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- SLP-CCC preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered.
- Strong commitment to helping students improve their speech and language skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
