Join our team in Houston, TX, as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and help make a difference in students' lives by providing essential support in communication and language development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans for students.
- Conduct individual or group sessions under the direction of a licensed SLP.
- Prepare materials and resources to support therapy activities.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to promote speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
- Valid Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
