Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Contractor through Soliant Education
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible Hours), Full School Year Contract
Job Description: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a contracted SLP, you will work within a supportive school district environment, providing essential speech and language therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and educational goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings as per IEP (Individualized Education Program) requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, assessments, and interventions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for clinical fellowship year (CFY).
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
