Speech-Language Therapist Coal Center, PA

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Therapists for a temporary summer position in Coal Center, PA. The position will run from June 13 to August 1, providing services during the summer break. The hours are from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities of students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' needs and goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing speech and language disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the educational setting.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff regarding therapy goals and progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
• Previous experience working with school-age children is preferred.
• Knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for speech and language disorders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse caseload.
