Speech Pathologist need in Perkasie, IL

POSITION DESCRIPTION: To provide part-time direct patient care and support activities which build and maintain the outstanding outcomes of the therapy department. You will be servicing school aged children.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Serving Middle and High school students

Must have AAC experience

Must be comfortable working with students with Behaviors

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of general patient care experience (including orthopedics, general medicine and neuro across the continuum).

Ability to recognize signs of distress.

Basic computer skills in word processing and on line communication.

Writes accurate, complete, and clear documentation in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.

License/Certification

Possession of licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board of California.

CPR certification from the AHA.
