Job Title: Substitute Teacher

Location: Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts 

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team. In this role, you will step into classrooms to ensure that students continue their learning in the absence of their regular teacher. Responsibilities include following lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and providing a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow provided lesson plans and instructional materials
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Support students with their academic and behavioral needs
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students
• Report back on student progress and any issues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Previous experience working with children (teaching experience is a plus)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
