We have an exciting opening for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a school near Rochester, New York. Position Details:

Responsibilities: As an Itinerant Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for students with speech and language disorders. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and in collaboration with the IEP team.
  • Providing direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension, and expression.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the students' educational plans and classroom activities.
  • Monitoring student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and documenting all therapy sessions and student outcomes.
  • Traveling between multiple school sites to provide services to students across the district.


  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in New York.
  • Previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of the IEP process and familiarity with special education regulations.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel between school sites.
