Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist seeking a temporary position in a school setting? We have an exciting opportunity for you! A reputable school near Arlington Heights, Illinois, is currently seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Speech Language Pathologist for a temporary assignment from June 8th to June 29th, 2023.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments to determine students' speech and language needs, develop appropriate goals, and monitor progress.
• Plan and implement engaging therapy sessions that address students' communication challenges and promote their overall development.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure effective communication strategies and support for students.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant records.
• Attend team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities as required.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois.
• Previous experience working with school-aged children and familiarity with the IEP process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' needs and goals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
