Summer Opening! Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed Near Bridgeport, CT

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home.
• Monitor students' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
• Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of speech and language disorders.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment tools and evidence-based therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.

Duration: July 3rd to August 3rd (4 weeks)

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
