Position Details:

Responsibilities: As a Speech Language Pathologist in our summer program, you will play a vital role in providing speech therapy services to students during the designated period. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Developing and implementing targeted treatment plans based on assessment results and in collaboration with the IEP team.
  • Delivering direct speech therapy services to students, addressing areas such as articulation, language comprehension, expressive language, and social communication.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the students' educational plans and activities.
  • Documenting all therapy sessions and student progress to ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Participating in team meetings and communicating effectively with the school staff and parents.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Previous experience working with school-age children, preferably in a school or clinical setting.
  • Sound knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
