Summer School (RBT) Needed! Near Providence, RI

Soliant is seeking a Contracted Summer School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the period of July to August. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in supporting students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in a summer school setting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special needs.

Position:
Contracted Summer School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Duration: July to August (exact dates may vary)
Location: Near Providence, Rhode Island

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Provide one-on-one support to students with ASD to facilitate skill acquisition and behavior management
• Collect and record data on student progress during intervention sessions
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including teachers, therapists, and parents, to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral strategies
• Assist in the preparation and organization of materials for therapy sessions
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions

Requirements:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in helping individuals with special needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field
• Additional certifications or training in ABA or related disciplines
• Experience working in a school or educational setting
