Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to place in a school district for the upcoming school year. This contract position is located in Long Beach, California and offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
• Implement individualized therapy plans under the guidance and supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Provide direct intervention services to students, both individually and in small groups, targeting speech and language goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective strategies to support students' communication skills.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports.

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
• Active California SLPA Licensure
• Experience working with school-aged children (preferred).
