Surg Tech - Omaha, NE

Soliant Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech for a hospital in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a sterile and safe surgical environment for patients, surgeons, and staff. The CST will assist in surgical procedures, set up and maintain surgical equipment, and ensure proper handling of instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and sterilize equipment and supplies before surgery
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments, holding retractors, and suturing incisions
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
• Maintain a clean and sterile surgical environment
• Provide post-operative care, including dressing changes and wound care

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist
• Minimum of one year of experience in a surgical setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
