Teacher Assistant (PARA) 2023-2024

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with teachers and students to support educational and developmental needs. This is a vital role that contributes to the overall success of our students and school community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with the implementation of lesson plans and curriculum.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt materials and activities for individual student needs.
• Support students with disabilities, including but not limited to, physical, behavioral, or learning disabilities.
• Monitor and record student progress and behavior.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of instructional materials and resources.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher is a plus).
• Paraprofessional certification or willingness to obtain certification (if required by the state). PEL, LBS1 or Sub License 
• Passion for working with students and helping them achieve their full potential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to diverse learning environments.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
