Soliant is currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified Teacher for the Visually Impaired to join our team. As a Teacher for the Visually Impaired, you will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with visual impairments to help them achieve academic success.
Job Description:
- Full Year W-2 Contract
- Job Duties:
- Provide direct and consultative services to students with blindness and visual impairments
- Completion of FVA and/or O&M evaluations
- Development and implementation of IEP
- Consultation
- Training to staff
- Provide and maintain materials, equipment, and assistant technology
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Education for the Visually Impaired Students
- State Teaching Certification in Visual Education (TVI)
