Teacher of the Visually Impaired

Soliant Health is working with a school district near Orange, TX looking to hire a full-time teacher of the visually impaired.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Valid Texas Teacher of the Visually Impaired Certification

• Experience working in a classroom preferred but new grads are strongly encouraged to apply!

Employment Type:

• Full-time contract

• Work Hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Monday-Friday

Job Duties:

• Provide braille instruction

• Evaluations for the early childhood level

• Provide vision services to students in district

• Prepare and implement annual education plan for each student based on district procedure

• Prepare lesson plans
