Teacher of the Visually Impaired

Soliant Health is working with a school district near Phoenix looking to hire a part-time teacher of the visually impaired. This position will be a work from home opportunity via our tele-services platform VOCO.

Details:

• 17 hours/week with the potential to increase
• Monday - Friday
• 3 hours per day with paid planning time
• Braille proficient, experience with JAWS is preferred
• AZ license, DHS fingerprint ID required prior to start

Job Duties:

• Evaluations for the early childhood level
• Itinerant position-traveling between K-12 schools
• Prepare and implement annual education plan for each student based on district procedure
• Prepare lesson plans
