We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated pharmacist to provide vacation coverage at a small LTAC hospital in Abilene, TX. This temporary position offers a valuable opportunity to showcase your expertise while ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of pharmaceutical services to our patients.

Responsibilities:
 

• Commencing on Wednesday, September 27th, you will undergo a comprehensive training period with our Director of Pharmacy (DOP) on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
• After the training period, you will assume sole responsibility for pharmacy operations from Saturday, September 30th to November 24th
• Availability for on-call duty is required to address any urgent pharmaceutical needs during the assigned period.

Requirements:
 

• Valid pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
• Demonstrated experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in accurately dispensing medication and providing pharmaceutical consultation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
