Temp/Perm Radiation Therapist

Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a Temporary Radiation Therapist to join our team in South Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments to patients in a safe, effective and efficient manner. The position is a Temp to Temp role, with an expected duration of 6 months. You will receive travel pay for you to the first 6-8 weeks of the assignment.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist.

• Evaluate patient's daily treatment setup and positioning, make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate treatment delivery.

• Provide patient education related to radiation therapy, potential side effects, and supportive care.

• Maintain accurate and complete treatment records, ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Collaborate with the radiation oncologist, medical physicist, and dosimetrist in treatment planning and delivery.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Radiation Therapist License in the state of South Carolina.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and practices.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
