An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide care in a dynamic clinical setting in Fleming, CO. This eight-week contract role offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate various work preferences, including four to ten-hour shifts or five to eight-hour shifts. The department operates from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include delivering occupational therapy services across inpatient/swing beds, outpatient care, and an extended care unit. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support patients’ rehabilitation and functional independence. Documentation and patient records are managed through the Athena electronic medical record system.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA or AOTE accredited program
- Current Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) license valid in the State of Colorado
- Minimum of two years of occupational therapy experience
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Familiarity with inpatient, outpatient, and extended care rehabilitation settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
