An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatric care to provide skilled therapy services in a hospital outpatient setting. This contract position is ideal for licensed OTs with a passion for supporting children’s development and rehabilitation.

Location:

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Current Mississippi Occupational Therapy license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 1 year pediatric occupational therapy experience
  • Permanent residence located more than 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Provide outpatient pediatric occupational therapy services, focusing on individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules, including coverage of some acute care when outpatient services are not operating or during high cancellation periods
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient progress and care continuity
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with facility regulations

Schedule / Hours:

  • Dayshift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Includes weekend and holiday rotations

This 13-week contract begins as soon as possible and offers the chance to work in an engaging and supportive environment focused on pediatric therapy. Candidates must meet all requirements to be considered.
