Occupational Therapist in San Diego, CA

Provide occupational therapy support in a dynamic school setting designed to foster student growth and development. Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in a school-based environment
• Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Assess students’ needs and monitor progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license with school-based experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and educational-based interventions
• Ability to work onsite, providing services directly to students
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Additional Information:

• Contract position to cover maternity leave starting early February
• Shift consists of four 7-hour days per week
• This role requires onsite presence; telehealth or remote services are not applicable
• Preference given to candidates with school-based occupational therapy experience; COTA applicants are not being considered for this assignment
