Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in a school-based environment
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Assess students’ needs and monitor progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license with school-based experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and educational-based interventions
- Ability to work onsite, providing services directly to students
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Additional Information:
- Contract position to cover maternity leave starting early February
- Shift consists of four 7-hour days per week
- This role requires onsite presence; telehealth or remote services are not applicable
- Preference given to candidates with school-based occupational therapy experience; COTA applicants are not being considered for this assignment
