Occupational Therapist in Woodstock, VA

A rewarding opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in outpatient pediatrics to provide skilled therapy services in a fast-paced hospital setting. This contract position is based in Woodstock, VA, offering a workweek of 36 guaranteed hours with a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule (8:00 AM to 5:45 PM). There are no weekend or on-call responsibilities, allowing for a predictable work-life balance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient pediatric occupational therapy preferred
• Valid Virginia Occupational Therapy License or current licensure status in Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical records system is advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to outpatient pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patients’ needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient progress and continuity of care
• Document treatments accurately in compliance with hospital policies and EPIC EMR
• Adhere to professional standards and the Virginia hospital dress code
