Physical Therapist in Atascadero, CA

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate patients focusing on improving mobility, function, and strength
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care
• Communicate effectively with physicians, co-workers, and front office staff to ensure quality patient services
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and company privacy policies rigorously
• Participate in business marketing and referral processes when needed
• Perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds and providing patient mobility assistance

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Degree in Physical Therapy
• Current or soon-to-be acquired Physical Therapist license in California
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions
• Proficient with computer skills (typing, Word, Internet, EMR)
• Familiarity with Medicare, work-comp, private billing, and coding (DX, ICD-10)
• Continuing education courses preferred
