A physical therapy role in a hospital setting is available in Baltimore, MD. This contract opportunity requires a minimum of one year of experience and excludes new graduates. The position focuses on providing therapy services to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments using established methods such as fall risk assessments and gross motor assessments.
  • Manage cases involving a variety of orthopedic conditions including Achilles tendonitis, ACL tears, post-operative back pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
  • Provide treatment for neurological conditions like brachial plexus injury, cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), degenerative diseases, and Parkinson’s disease.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement personalized therapy plans.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with at least one year of clinical experience.
  • Proficient in case management and patient evaluation techniques.
  • Skilled in treating a broad range of orthopedic and neurological conditions.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) software.
  • Professional appearance with adherence to a business casual dress code.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time contract position with an average caseload of approximately 55 visits per week.
