Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical function impairments and wounds, creating tailored care plans aligned with regulatory and clinical standards.
  • Administer therapeutic procedures including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, assistive device usage, and wound care.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatments accordingly, documenting outcomes precisely in electronic health records.
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and interdisciplinary teams about patient status and treatment plans.
  • Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries in compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate actively in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and other clinical meetings.
  • Support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students through supervision.
  • Maintain adherence to all professional practice acts, ethical standards, and codes of conduct.
