Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Treat patients primarily on 1-2 floors, focusing on acute care patients including cardiac and orthopedic cases
- Employ rehabilitation techniques utilizing equipment such as portable parallel bars, stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Occupational and Speech Therapists
- Document patient progress accurately using Sunrise Allscripts
- Flexibly cover inpatient units and emergency department as needed, excluding NICU coverage
- Participate in one self-selected weekend shift per month alongside weekday hours
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in New Hampshire
- BLS certification required
- Previous acute care experience highly desirable
- Vestibular therapy experience preferred but not mandatory
