Location:
Located in Concord, NH, with the assignment at a nearby hospital in Manchester, this vibrant area combines the charm of New England living with access to quality healthcare institutions. The region offers scenic natural beauty, seasonal outdoor activities, and a close-knit community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Treat patients primarily on 1-2 floors, focusing on acute care patients including cardiac and orthopedic cases
  • Employ rehabilitation techniques utilizing equipment such as portable parallel bars, stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Occupational and Speech Therapists
  • Document patient progress accurately using Sunrise Allscripts
  • Flexibly cover inpatient units and emergency department as needed, excluding NICU coverage
  • Participate in one self-selected weekend shift per month alongside weekday hours

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in New Hampshire
  • BLS certification required
  • Previous acute care experience highly desirable
  • Vestibular therapy experience preferred but not mandatory
