Join a dynamic healthcare team providing expert physical therapy services to a diverse patient population in Hyattsville, MD. This contract position is ideal for a skilled Physical Therapist with at least one year of experience working with adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients. Candidates must have practical expertise in managing a full caseload and demonstrate strong clinical skills in both orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough evaluations and assessments such as fall risk and gross motor function, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions. You will manage an average caseload of approximately 55 visits per week, focusing on conditions such as back pain post-surgery, ACL tears, osteoporosis, rotator cuff injuries, stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease, and other degenerative disorders. Accurate documentation using electronic health records is expected to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist (new graduates are not eligible)
  • Proficiency in orthopedic conditions including Achilles tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, meniscus tears, and related musculoskeletal disorders
  • Experience with neurological rehabilitation including brachial plexus injury and cerebrovascular accident (CVA)
  • Strong skills in case management and patient evaluation techniques
  • Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation
