This opportunity is ideal for a Physical Therapist skilled in hospital-based therapy, committed to delivering comprehensive care across a broad patient spectrum—from pediatric to geriatric populations. You will conduct thorough patient evaluations, design and implement effective treatment plans, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient status and needs; establish and revise realistic short- and long-term goals in coordination with providers, patients, families, and team members.
  • Administer and monitor therapy treatments, adapting plans to maximize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote goal achievement.
  • Document treatments and progress with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communicate effectively with all relevant parties regarding patient progress, needs, and discharge.
  • Supervise therapy assistants in patient care and treatment delivery.
  • Perform reevaluations and maintain billing accuracy.
  • Efficiently schedule patient appointments in collaboration with administrative staff.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to departmental education and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and participate in hospital culture and mission activities.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with hospital therapy experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience supervising therapy assistants preferred.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
