Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Current license to practice physical therapy, in good standing (required).
  • Hospital and/or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of therapy techniques, treatment planning, and documentation standards.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, State Practice Act, and industry code of conduct.
  • Commitment to superior patient care, collaboration, and high ethical standards.
  • Ability to provide educational support to patients, families, students, and peers.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and craft individualized, goal-focused treatment plans.
  • Delegate and oversee discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
  • Document all care activities and assessments clearly, accurately, and in a timely fashion.
  • Promote and model a high standard of safety across all aspects of work, from patient handling to infection control.
  • Adhere to clinic guidelines for attendance, appearance, and professional conduct.
  • Participate in student education and provide supervision as assigned.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and implement best practices learned through continuing education.
  • Engage in performance improvement efforts and provide constructive feedback to support organizational goals.
