This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a 253-bed hospital that includes a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit. The hospital emphasizes collaborative care and is equipped with the latest mobility equipment to support patient recovery.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license
- MPT or DPT degree from an accredited college or university
- Acute care experience required
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- ICU experience is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments for acute care patients
- Manage caseloads typically comprising 9-10 patients per day to meet productivity standards

- Utilize mobility equipment effectively to enhance patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit guidelines and hospital policies to ensure quality and safety standards
Additional Information:
- Work occurs across floors 1-4 in the main hospital building
- The staff includes around 20 PT caregivers, fostering a supportive and experienced team environment
- No night shifts; focus is on day shift hours
- Parking is available on the third or fourth floor of the hospital's parking garage
