Required Skills and Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in the state of California
- Recent hospital-based physical therapy experience preferred
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy interventions for patients in acute care and long-term hospital units
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to design comprehensive therapy approaches
- Provide education to patients and families to promote understanding and engagement in care plans
- Document all patient interactions, treatment progression, and outcomes in accordance with hospital standards
- Adjust and adapt therapeutic techniques based on patient responses and evolving medical needs
