Required Skills and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in the state of California
• Recent hospital-based physical therapy experience preferred
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy interventions for patients in acute care and long-term hospital units
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to design comprehensive therapy approaches
• Provide education to patients and families to promote understanding and engagement in care plans
• Document all patient interactions, treatment progression, and outcomes in accordance with hospital standards
• Adjust and adapt therapeutic techniques based on patient responses and evolving medical needs
