Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Demonstrated experience in hospital-based therapy settings
- Proficiency with PT evaluations, treatments, and documentation in an acute care environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with patients, families, and a collaborative medical team
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical settings and handle a diverse patient population
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy assessments, establishing individualized treatment plans for patients of varying ages and health conditions
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions with an emphasis on optimizing functional mobility and patient safety
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and ancillary departments to coordinate care and ensure continuity
- Maintain clear, timely, and compliant documentation of all evaluations, treatments, and patient progress
- Contribute to patient education and support discharge planning to promote successful recoveries post-hospitalization
