Physical Therapist | Winchester, Virginia

Provide expert physical therapy services in a contract role focused on outpatient care, treating a diverse adult patient population including geriatric and adolescent clients. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments using gross motor assessment techniques
• Deliver treatment plans for orthopedic conditions such as ACL tears, back pain (post-operative), fractures, rotator cuff injuries, and joint replacements
• Manage neurological cases including concussion and vestibular disorders like vertigo
• Maintain documentation using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50 to 55 patients per week, with 10-11 visits daily
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and case management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
• Proficiency with orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation techniques
• Skilled in use of EHR software for documentation (NextGen preferred)
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality care
• Professional business casual appearance and demeanor
