Support patient recovery and rehabilitation by working closely with physical therapists to deliver high-quality care across all age groups. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physical therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions including stretching and strengthening exercises.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the PT to adjust treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and safety techniques such as balance training.
  • Facilitate patient transfers from mobility aids to therapy spaces safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the therapy environment.
  • Manage administrative duties including scheduling appointments and filing necessary documentation.
  • Support a patient-centered approach from newborns through end-of-life care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols accurately.
  • Competence in performing basic administrative tasks.
